Theatre Preview: Blue Heart @ The Tobacco Factory

Le Navet Bete, the award-winning South West company, are returning to Tobacco Factory Theatres next week in a whirlwind of raucous laughter and slapstick comedy. Taking on the timeless family classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, they’re taking us a long way from Kansas on a twister ride down the Yellow Brick Road, meeting the beloved characters from our childhood and a few new and unexpected additions as well…

A night of ludic giggles, live music, hilarious dances and fantastical abandon – this is a comedy to be enjoyed by all ages.

Praise for Le Navet Bete

★★★★  “Ingenious and effortlessly hilarious, they deliver a cracking mix of wit and slapstick tomfoolery, served with physical panache . . . Big on laughs and theatrical pizzazz, this Devon-based company has a style and slickness that wholly engages the audience in their merry mayhem.” The Stage, on Robin Hood

★★★★ “It’s the great joy of companies like Le Navet Bete that they take our imaginations out for some vigorous exercise and they come back the better for it, having briefly rediscovered our inner child. “ Stagetalk, on Dick Tracey
