Theatre Preview: Two Man Show @ Circomedia

by Polly Hember

Two Man Show is presented by the Tobacco Factory Theatres Beyond at Circomedia, alongside MAYK (the people behind Bristol’s Mayfest). Fringe First Winners RashDash return with their critically acclaimed Two Man Show that defies and subverts preconceptions about gender, language and society. A daring and imaginative comedy filled to burst with live music, dance and movement with a sharp edge that cuts straight to the heart of how we see gender.

Written by Abbi Greenland, Helen Goaland and Becky Wilkie, Two Man Show follows the musings of John and Dan, who keep hearing people say that men have all the power.

However, it doesn’t feel that way to them. They bravely examine notions about “Man” and “men”, talking about masculinity, patriarchy and privilege with the help of music, dance and raucous hilarity.

“Smart, potent and exhilaratingly physical attack on patriarchy”

– The Stage

“Tremendously fun, a fizzily provocative romp that crackles with punk rock energy”
