Theatre Preview: What If The Plane Falls Out Of The Sky @ The Loco Club
by Polly Hember

Billed as “a show for anyone who has ever felt absolutely dreadful”, the Bristol-based theatre company Idiot Child are launching their new piece WHAT IF THE PLANE FALLS OUT OF THE SKY? in Bristol’s Loco Club. Exploring complex issues that skulk in the crevices of the human psyche they tackle neuroses, anxiety and dread with ludic enthusiasm. Set to be an interesting evening of hilarity and introspection, they present the confounding question: “do you feel how I feel?”.

This experimental piece is part of Bristol Old Vic’s Studio Walkabout Season. It opens in Bristol before touring to Shoreditch, Brighton, Weston-Super-Mare, Exeter, Birmingham, Guildford and Oxford. Accompanying the show writer and director Dr Anna Harpin will lead post-show talks and theatre-led workshops exploring the show’s themes of fear and anxiety.
